Two-Week Commissary-Buy Cycle

New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) operates commissary purchasing on a two-week (bi-weekly) cycle. Incarcerated individuals are generally permitted to shop commissary once every two weeks, subject to their spending limit and good-standing status. Orders submitted after a facility's cutoff date for a given cycle will roll to the following cycle.

• Cycle length: approximately 14 days per buy period.
• Cutoff dates and delivery windows vary by facility — contact your facility directly or visit the official DOCCS commissary page for the most current schedule.
• Delivery of approved commissary items typically occurs within the same cycle week, though timing depends on facility operations.

Facility-Specific Schedules

Each DOCCS facility maintains its own commissary schedule, cutoff deadlines, and delivery days. Do not rely on dates from a different facility. To confirm the schedule for a specific facility:

Approved-Product Rules
